Rounders and Texas Hold Em Poker

Rounders is a 1998 film about the underground world of high-stakes poker. Directed by John Dahl and starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton, Rounders is the story of two buddies who need to earn enough some quick money playing poker in order to pay off a massive debt.
The term “rounder” refers to a person whose sole means of earning a living is by playing cards.
Rounders initially had mixed reviews from the critics and made only a moderate amount of money. However, with the growing popularity of online Texas hold em and other poker games, Rounders has become a cult hit among the poker loving crowd.
